    • Question: Is there a size guide, based on user's height? Don't know whether to order the 35 or 42 inch. Thank you!

      Answer: I am 5'6"...I ordered the 42" but am thinking the 35" would have worked much better for m

      Answer: I'm about 5'2 and bought the 35" leg lifter which was just right for me. You should probably order the 42". I hope this works for you. It was certainly a wonderful aid after my hip surgery.

    • Question: Can this be used for getting out of a kayak?

      Answer: I don't think so although it depends on what type of kayak you have. I have the kind you sit inside of rather than on top. If you have one where you sit on top, it might be useful. If you have one where you are sitting inside with your bottom 10-14 inches below the side, it would not be helpful.
    • Question: I'm 5'0"...will this leg puller be too big for me?

      Answer: I am 5 ft. , 1 .75 inches tall and worked great for me. I used it primarily to lift my leg in and out of bed during healing process. I use it now for stretch exercises. I have been pleased with it
    • Question: I have a water bed that has a mattress over the tubes. I wonder if this leg lift will help me sit up and get out of bed?

      Answer: I have a leg lifter from the same company that is a little different than this one. It has a curve in the strap rather than having a straight strap. I got it when I had a knee replacement 3 years ago. Right now I am in pain from a pulled muscle and am using it to get in bed and on the couch. I also use it to help me sit up on the couch and bed. It helps a lot, although I still have a little pain. I don't need it to get out of bed or off the couch, but tried it and it worked.
    • Question: Can this be used to assist in lifting leg up a step ?

      Answer: I wouldn't think so but it really helped me with my broken Femur and hop replacement. I used it to help get my leg up in the bed & used it to help excercise my leg
    • Question: Why did I receive 2 leg lifters?

      Answer: Probably by mistake. I received just one.
    • Question: will this work for an anterior hip replacement?

      Answer: I bought this item because my physical therapist recommended it. My replacement was not anterior, but shortly after returning home, I pulled thigh muscles that needed rehabilitation at the same time the hip muscles and joint were being rehabilitated. I used this product to help get in and out of bed, elevate legs when necessary, and get in and out of the car. It's sturdy enough to serve many months and is versatile.
    • Question: I am buying for a sibling. He is 5'8 or 5'9. What size should I get for him?

      Answer: i would go with the inseam personally, i think you can google that answer as well :D sorry i know this isn't much help :( my mom is 5'10" and i got her the bigger one because of how far her leg hangs out of the truck :D think this way, if the person has back issues like my mom....get the longer one. if he can bend to place on foot, get the shorter one :D there's really not much difference as far as i remember :D hope this helps :D

    Must Have After Hip Surgery
    I recently had hip arthroscopy and this leg lifter was a must have for the first week after surgery, I liked that it has a stiff material making it easy to place over your foot and lift.

    This item helps me get into bed !
    The rigid nature of the foot insert helps to put the appliance on and off, prevents having to lean over to put over my foot or shoe. It avoids me having to grab my jeans or pajamas to stabilize my leg to lay down or swing my leg out of a chair. Avoids a lot of pain
