Question: This is for seller: why sid you have to add chocolate to sea salt caramel. They were perfect. I dont want chocolate in my bars.t
Answer: Was a long time consumer of the Sea Salt Caramel bars. They were perfect. Garden of Life made a great tasting, textured, protein bar and somehow managed to make it taste like tough cardboard by adding the chocolate. I'm so bummed. I got a box with the chocolate, will finish it, but will be looking elsewhere now. -
Question: How many come in a box
Answer: Many say 12 comes in a box, however today I received a box of only 4 bars. That amounts to $5.00 a bar. Be very careful when purchasing this product because each seller is different. I had originally purchased a box with 12 bars and thought that was what I was getting this time. Wrong! Read carefully before purchasing because they do not sell them as boxes of 12 at all times it all depends on the seller. -
Question: is this still a fortified candy bar? I think i've only eaten one bar before that wasn't a candy bar in disguise

Answer: YES. The bars contain green coffee bean extract. That is caffeine. Anyone who says otherwise is lying or is uneducated. Especially the seller. As someone who CAN NOT have caffeine or I will have severe panic attacks I can NOT touch anything with "Stevol" aka green coffee bean extract -
Question: Which bars are chocolate covered?
Answer: The peanut butter ones have chocolate covering on the bottom half of the bar. They are delicious. -
Question: Can I order these in a hot climate or will they melt before getting here?
Answer: There is chocolate used in the bar so I would assume it can melt. I have been ordering these bars for a while and haven’t had any issue with melting or weather impacting the taste, but I do live in an apartment building and the package is usually left in my lobby and out of the sun. There is no AC so it can get warm n muggy but no direct sun. I’d be more cautious if the package may sit in front of a residence all day in direct sun..
