    • Question: How accurate is this thermometer?

      Answer: Not accurate at all. I returned it.
    • Question: Is this device FDA cleared?

      Answer: It is.
    • Question: Is it more accurate to put the thermometer directly in back of throat or under tongue?

      Answer: It should be placed under the tongue for best results, as there are less temperature variations in that area. Please refer to the user manual (it can be found in our website) for accurate use directions.
    • Question: What kind of batteries are needed?

      Answer: The product says LR44 ... It's incorrect the battery size is LR41 I opened the battery compartment when the thermometer kept reading 97.6 It doesn't work with the batteries which came in it ...poor purchase Don't buy this product
    • Question: Well does it take l41 or l44 battery and is the lcd screen backlit?

      Answer: The LCD screen is not backlit. According to the paperwork provided with the thermometer, the battery is one 1.5 V DC button battery (size LR41 or SR41, UCC 392).
    • Question: Is this 10 sec thermometer pretty accurate??

      Answer: It took 30 sec to complete the measurement.
    • Question: are the sleeves included?

      Answer: No sleeves are included, but the thermometer can and should be cleaned after each use with Isopropyl Alcohol.

      Answer: That is not what this is for.
