Question: has anyone used it for waxing?
Answer: Yes. It doesn't take the pain away completely but I use before waxing clients and after they say it really help -
Question: How long does the numbing last?
Answer: The numbing lasted for five hours but the relief lasted 24 hours. -
Question: Does the skin have to be broken for it to work? Also once applied can it be wiped off and remain numbing? (eg while getting a tattoo)
Answer: No the skin does not need to be broken. Apply the cream liberally to skin area you want numb then cover loosely with saran wrap for 45 mins right before you start the tattoo. Remove the plastic wrap and you'll be numb to the needle pain for a few hours. You won't be 100% pain free but it makes a huge difference in the amount of pain you'll feel. When they have you wash area before starting tatt and with wiping the area will remain numb. Hope this answers your ??s To add on to your ?? I reapplied more cream after being tattooed for 4 hours so obviously my skin was broken and it didnt have any bad reaction so in my opinion adding more cream after skin is broken is also acceptable to do if need be. -
Question: Would this be good for getting a Brazilian? I feel like you'd be only able to rub this on your pubic bone and not the other parts that also get waxed.
Answer: You aren't supposed to rub lidocaine in, so it's easy to keep in place. It is not meant for use on genitals, but if you are careful to only apply to the outer labia outward, I think it is fine. This is why I bought it and what I use it for. -
Question: How long do you leave it on the skin before starting the tattoo?
Answer: I've heard anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I started putting it on about an hour and a half before my tattoo. Put on a thin layer first and rub that into your skin, then put on a thicker layer, but don't really rub it in too much, then cover that thick layer with saran wrap and leave it on until you get tatted. -
Question: Can I use this for my ingrown toenails to cut it?
Answer: I would say yes. I was able to re-pierce my ear. 🤷🏻♀️ -
