    • Question: It says for teenagers. But can a woman whose given birth still use this?

      Answer: I think it will depend upon the shape and size of your specific vaginal canal. I am not a teenager but have not given birth. I used super tampons comfortably before switching to this cup and this cup is a perfect size for me. I’m 5’ and 115lbs if that matters.
    • Question: How does this compare to lilycup compact a? i found that cup comfortable but really difficult to remove.

      Answer: They are similar in terms of shape and size. The LILY CUP one, however, is more sturdy and not as soft ad the LILY CUP compact. The LILY CUP one is easier to adjust to for beginners because the frame is more sturdy and the loop at the stem makes removal a bit easier!
    • Question: Is this returnable if it doesn't fit?

      Answer: Y
    • Question: Are there any folds that work well for inserting this cup? Mine keeps collapsing when I put it in causing it to leak.

      Answer: I recommend watching some Youtube tutorials on how to insert a cup. There are quite a few of them out there and very useful. I usually fold the upper half diagonally, forming a little "beak". (Again, check Youtube.) What helps me is when the cup is already inside, I go around the rim with my finger to see if it's fully and evenly open. Then, if needed, I can adjust it on some sides and have a guarantee it won't leak.
    • Question: Does the lily cup one fold into a smaller shaper for insertion than the original lily cup?

      Answer: it doesn't fold like a tampon in the same way as the original one because of its double ring in the upper border, but when you do the “punch down” fold it gives a really small insertion point.
    • Question: Will the ends poke?

      Answer: No, if it's properly in, then it's deep enough not to poke out.

    Hard to remove
    I like how it has the hook in order to remove it however the silicone is hard and somewhat uncomfortable and not super pliable making it painful to insert and removing it even when breaking the suction.

    works good for me!
    before trying this, I used the cora cup which caught blood well but it made me feel like my organs were being slightly sucked out at times. I didn’t experience that with this cup thankfully! my first time using it I could get it to pop open most times. I did leak once overnight on my heaviest day but other than that it did it’s job well. I like that it doesn’t violently pop open like other firmer cups when taking it out.

    AMAZING lil cup!
    This menstrual cup is truly awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone who menstruates-- even if only as an emergency backup. For starters, the fact that it collapses into something small enough to fit in your pocket is a fantastic idea; it means that you can easily stash it away in your jacket/purse/backpack to be prepared whenever your cycle hits-- a convenience factor that can't be matched by other cups. The fact that it is so small does make it a perfect 'beginner's cup,' though I could see how if maybe you've given birth, or have an exceptionally heavy flow, this may be a drawback. I have a medium-heavy flow, but find that because it's so tiny, it's no problem at all if I need to empty and re-insert it while away from home (whereas I find with bigger cups, I need some lubricant for comfortable insertion.) I also LOVE that it has a ring for ease of removal. I haven't found it to be at all difficult to pull out, and the fact that it's made with thinner/more flexible silicone than other cups makes it super easy to break the seal. However, I've not found that this flexibility negatively impacts its ability to FORM a seal. I highly recommend giving this a try!

    Good but not for high cervix girlies
    It was good at its job we will say that it suctioned really well and I think it would have worked but, I couldn’t find it to get it out so just to say if you have a high cervix don’t get this.
