Question: Are all of its ingredients septic-safe?
Answer: The box says they are septic safe. I presume if the box says this all the ingredients must be septic safe. I've used these for years even when I had a septic system and never had trouble. Only pumped the system once in over 20 years and that was when I sold the house and it was a requirement of the sale. -
Question: Are the flushable pads safe for septic systems?
Answer: Yes they are! I flush them- never a problem!! -
Question: Can these be used with a septic tank?
Answer: Absolutely -
Question: can you put them inside the toilet tank so that all the holes get really clean?
Answer: No. these are to scrub the toilet bowl. They do make a dissolving tablet you can put in your toilet tank to help keep the toilet bowl clean. If you have a septic tank, you probably shouldn't be flushing them, even though they claim to be flushable. Not sure how well they breakdown. -
Question: Are these like the old toilet paper/papertowel consistancy? Or are they more plasticy? How durable are they?
Answer: They're kind of a rough cotton consistency, they're durable enough to scrub pretty hard, they're WAY more durable than the Clorox toilet wand pads that fall apart before I can even finish cleaning. If you need something that has a rougher texture for heavy duty cleaning, they do offer heavy duty pads as well. -
Question: How do you install?
Answer: You do not install. The pads get clipped by a plastic wand. After you clean the toilet bowl you release the cleaning pad into the trash or you can just flush it. Easy to use with no mess. -
Question: What ingredients are the cleaning agent? Considering using this to clean the inside of our litterrobot with the wand...
Answer: Product contains Sodium Petroleum Sulfanate. Would surely not use the arm on a litter robot if that item is used for a cat or other pet! -
Question: Do you use your hands or is there a special tool or use with toilet brush?
Answer: It's a long tool........no hands at all. So buy the tool first in a kit that will have a few of the disposables in it and then keep the tool for years to come. -
Question: Does the handle from the previous design work with these pads?
Answer: I don't know what the previous design was like. Mine has a little button that opens a jaw like holder at the bottom and when you slide the button back the plastic jaw closes around the end of the cleaning pad.
