Question: Can the pen be removed and replaced with another pen of choice?
Answer: Yes, but my husband doesn't feel that the product in general has been very helpful. -

Answer: Yes the pen can be used for left handed people. My aunt has the same pen and she is left handed. When my hand gets tired and starts to shake I pull out my steady pen and I can continue writing. You will like the pen. I bought one for my mom because she has arthritis and it is working well for her. I hope this helps with your decision to purchase the steady pen. -
Question: Can I use this with a pencil?
Answer: I have only used this with a pen. I think if you can remove the pen and insert a pencil it should work. Trial and error.
