I've just started to use this product in my new dishwasher. So far, and this could be user problems, more than machine problems, it seems to leave spots on glassware.' and silverware. Just using Cascade Ultra, doesn't do that. It may take more experience locating dishes in the proper spots to solve the problem. I certainly hope to over come these minor problems because keeping the water jets and surfaces clean is very important.

My town has really hard water that just destroys the inside of the dishwasher and leaves everything with a icky film. Spots on the glassware and utensils were disgusting and I was forced for years to hand dry everything to get them off. I tried many a detergent and homemade hack for making things shine....nothing cut thru that scum. Then I happened upon this company and gave their products a try. Amazing results right from the get-go. I was seeing the difference right after the very first wash. I feel as if with every wash my items get cleaner as this product breaks down the accumulated scum. Big fan, hope they don't change anything.

Heard about a few years ago so tried it. It works great and makes the glasses sparkle.

My best friend suggested this to me when staying at my house. What a huge difference it made to my glasses, dishes and silverware! The fact that I have hard water and no water softener system did not matter.

My dishwasher is really old but I must ride it out until it dies. With prices sky-high in America I have resorted to some money saving tactics. I used to use fill both trays with dishwash detergent but since it is so expensive now I use lemi-shine in one tray and a dishwasher tab in the other. Everything comes out sparkly clean, even when my water is hard because I didnt fill my water softener salt on time. I will continue to buy this product as it works very well for me. My dishes are cleaner than ever.

Inside every canister of lemishine are a bunch of small, wonderful crystals of citric acid which rapidly oxidize hard water stains. Citric acid is of course derived from citrus fruits, which are edible but also extremely acidic. Lemishine smells like lemons because thats basically what it is: extremely concentrated lemon crystals. I use lemishine as instructed (put dish detergent in prewash, lemishine in main detergent space) and my dishes come out much nicer. I have very hard well water, and this took me from feeling like every dish was still dirty to only spot cleaning once every few cycles. My glass cups looked brand new. It was a miracle, especially for glass dishes. But dishes are not the only things that get lemishined. I use lemishine to clean out electric tea kettles, remove hard water stains from sinks, shower heads, even toilet bowls. All you have to do is sprinkle it on a problem area and get it slightly wet and it will start reacting with the hard water stain immediately. If you need more power, they also sell an even more concenteated citric acid appliance cleaner that works great as directed or for an extra powerful cleaning of a sink or shower head. I recommend running their appliance cleaner through the dishwasher once every few months to remove buildup there before it gets to your dishes. Watch out though, if you decide to manually scrub with it for extended periods of time repeatedly for deep cleaning it can be harsh on your hands, since it is, after all, a very low pH acid. My unofficial advice, if your hands hurt, pause cleaning, rinse thoroughly with cool water, and then apply skin lotion. This happens more with the appliance cleaner version (highly concentrated) than the standard version.

I have very hard water. Leah Shine is the only product that I use to keep my dishes shiny and spot free.
