Question: USA made?
Answer: No tag or stamping aside from the Firedog logo.. don't know. But I will say that I like it very much. Keeps my pipe tobacco in, and the liner keeps it fresh. I've had others that when closed spilt bits into my pocket. This is a fine pouch. -

Question: Will it hold a pipe and tobacco?
Answer: No. This item strictly for tobacco. -
Question: Would this fit medicine vials upright that are 3.375" tall and about .9" wide? Not sure if they'd be too tall.
Answer: The bottles I had were the 3.375 tall, but they are 1.25 wide for the bottle and 1.5 for the cap which seems to be the standard diameter for the smaller pill containers. The bottles have to be inserted the long way, so "upright" would be with narrow end carried up. Yes, you could place 2 bottles in the pouch, but they barely fit and place a lot of strain on the zipper. For real leather pouches, the most common reason for failure is that the seam for the zippers starts separating because the pouch is overpacked. These are nice pouches for their intended use, so I would NOT try to use one for 2 pill bottles. Seems like you should be able find a dollar store fabric pouch for makeup or school use that is large enough.
