Question: Is this tall enough to load a cargo van using a dolly?
Answer: The recommended using height range is 3.2''-8.9''.The load capacity is 600 lb. Don't use above it. -
Question: Can this be kept permanently outside for my shed?
Answer: Hello, I only use these when leaving the house. I do keep them outside (in the carry bag). Very easy to use. -
Question: Does this ramp have to be screwed into the ground. I will be needing it for inside the house?
Answer: It may depend on the flooring. I use it at my front and rear door which are 5" and 7" high with wood floors on the outside of both without screwing it in place The front is on the threshold. The front hasn't moved when I use my wheelchair. You can screw it down if you use it daily. I just use it when I want to go outside. Good Quality. -
Question: Does this item qualify for FSA?
Answer: It is very strong. -
Question: Can this fit into a typical car's trunk when folded up?
Answer: In a larger vehicle I would say yes. Smaller compact cars may have difficulty, especially if the seats could not be pushed down. -
Question: Will this aid in loading wheelchair into trunk of my Saturn on my own?
Answer: I wanted it to use a friends house but my power wheelchair was to heavy and could climb the ramp -
Question: Are the center hinges aluminum, or alloy?

Question: Need to walk down this. 5" drop from patio door onto deck. No stepping down with hip. screw into my threshold? Unsure what tap means.
Answer: This is for a wheel chair and is not flat in center. It would be great if it was a one piece unit and a little longer for walking. Having been in your situation I would recommend something with a handrail. If you have a screen door you want to keep so you can close I suggest looking into having a wood ramp built. -
Question: Where are the hinges? I don't see them.
Answer: The hinge is right between the two ramps. -
Question: Can you use this ramp with a person in the wheelchair?
Answer: I purchased this a while back and returned it because the directions specifically stated that a person can not be in the wheelchair while wheeling it on the ramp. Of what use is it then if what you need it for is to specifically wheel the person in the chair on the ramp. This deemed it totally useless for me. I found that it said this in the directions inside the box. It should be printed on the outside of the box to save people time and trouble.
