Question: Can you use this in the drain in the dishwasher?
Answer: Yes, Fly-Zyme is safe for use in the dishwasher drain and should help eliminate the odor. Fly-Zyme’s gel will cling and give the enzymes more time to work versus a normal liquid enzyme. -

Answer: Yes, Fly-Zyme has no negative impacts on septic systems. -

Answer: FlyZyme has a mild clean scent. There is no fragrance added to the product, it just naturally has a mild clean scent. It is ‘Fumeless’ though and is intended to eliminate the cause of odors in drains. -
Question: How about a shower drain were the drain goes straight down about a 18 inches then has a 90 degree turn into the main sewer line?
Answer: Our suggestion is to initially use Fly-Zyme as directed (6 oz per day for 5 days straight) and see if you notice any improvement. You should see improvement as long as you don’t use the shower or ‘flush out’ the drain too soon after applying Fly-Zyme. -
Question: Do you need to remove the stainless steel shower drain?
Answer: No, there is no need to remove the shower plug/stopper, just make sure it is all the way open, and then apply FlyZyme to all sides of the drain. -
Question: Could this be used on or near a heat pipe in an apartment?
Answer: Yes. FlyZyme is not flammable, so it is safe to use near a heat pipe.
