Question: How long is the mop handle? 99% of mops are too short for me.
Answer: Hello, Our wonder mop handle is 3/4" steel handle with handle grip and hanger hole; 64" total height. Sincerely, The Libman Company. -
Question: is this one solid length mop handle, or does it have a connect two pieces to make one mop handle? I do not like more than one piece handles.
Answer: The Wonder Mop has one full length handle. It does not come in pieces. -
Question: Can I add bleach to the cleaning goop, I mean solution...? Thank you.
Answer: Generally we don’t recommend using bleach. It tends to rust the handles pretty quickly. If you want to disinfectant your floors, you can use a combination of lemon juice and vinegar for a gentler disinfectant. A few drops of tea tree oil+ water is another natural disinfectant as well. If you do use bleach, use a small amount in your mop water, and make sure to dry the handle thoroughly after use as bleach is corrosive to steel. -
Question: The description says this mop is for lighter messes. Does that mean it's not good for whole house weekly mopping?
Answer: The Libman Wonder® Mop is great for both light messes and regular household mopping. The Libman Tornado Mop® is perfect for more heavy duty and deep cleaning applications in the home. -
Question: Does it have any sharp metal on the bottom that might scratch the floor? Usually, there is metal clamp/clip holding the mop head on.
Answer: No, there is no sharp metal on the mop head or any other material that might scratch the floor. While the connector on the mop is plastic, if the mop head properly installed, the only portion that should touch the floor is fabric. -
Question: How long is the handle without the mop head? Measuring with the mop strings fully extended is useless, as that's not how a mop is used.
Answer: Hello - the steel handle is approximately 42 inches, so when using the mop it is around 45 inches from the handle end to the end of an in-use mop. -
Question: Is this the actual mop or is it refills?
Answer: It’s both – the Wonder® Mop plus three (3) refills. Sorry for the confusion. We’re working on the product title to make it clearer. -
Question: How do I wring the mop as I'm washing the floor?
Answer: I am going to assume that you have a pail of clean water nearby. Swish your wonder mop until the dirt colors the water. Next, using the plastic guard slide it down over the mop, wringing it out. It may be necessary, if your floor is very dirty, to discard the water in the pail and replace it with clean water, intermittently. -
Question: Approximately how long do the mop heads last?
Answer: It comes with three mop heads. I just keep throwing one in the washer, and have never used the other two. Have washed it ten times, doesn’t need to be thrown away.
