    • Question: Do you have to hold it up, or can you just lay it on the book?

      Answer: You need to hold it up a bit and adjust to your vision. I like it and would like it better if it was smaller so the focus of the led's would be more centered. good product overa
    • Question: is there more than one film cover, as one on rich side?

      Answer: The lit magnifier is the same on both sides, but the lighting is on one side only. It did come with a second magnifier sheet, smaller and not lit, but effective. The lit magnifier really works well. I hope this answers your question.
    • Question: Your description says the product weighs 3.5 ounces and 6 ounces. So how much does it weigh, without batteries?

      Answer: Must be 3.5 because it weighs 4 ounces with batteries. Hope this helps.
    • Question: what is the size?

      Answer: Viewing area is 7" X 4.5". My husband is not using it. He says it lights up, but doesn't magnify enough.
    • Question: Other brand, unacceptable distortion where lens meets frame. ruins read. this magnifier, sharp-to-edge? -- no distortion?

      Answer: My magnifier works nicely when reading a book or magazine that is on a flat surface. If I try to read something like book or magazine that is hand held I run into issues of way out of focus edges. My magnifier is new and I am still getting used to reading through it.
    • Question: How far or close am I supposed to hold it from the paper? Too close it is blurry to far it shows imprints of the lense

      Answer: It all depends on you and your eyes . IMO, a few inches for most , but I found because of ow this item is made , it is unusable . or , I never used it after the first couple of times trying to it. IMO , the problem is how it is constructed . Those circles of plastic make it lousy .So I use the simple and more basic hand held , 1 piece (no lights) of plastic , which i find is 100% better and usable . The big sheet magnifier sits in its' box now waiting to be used as a paper weight ,if I can't find all the others I have, lol!!! . In short , this waste of money . end it back and either get a refund or buy something else ..
    • Question: Will this work for an I-pad?

      Answer: I bought it for I-Pad and newspaper reading, for which it is supposed to be very good. It did not work out of the box. I would advise selecting something else.
    • Question: Do you have 5X magnifying glasses , if possible in rectangular shape?

      Answer: This is rectangular which makes it nice for reading printed pages.
    • Question: Where is the light? my mom can’t find it and i don’t live near here. trying to guide her to it but i don’t know where it is.

      Answer: It's on the bottom right. It's a turn button. When looking at it, the name is on the left, the hand hold is in the middle and the button to turn on the lights is on the bottom edge on the right side.
    • Question: Is it anti-glare? does it reflect or distort when there is a light over or above it (i.e. without the led's on)?

      Answer: I use the magnifier in an unlighted area, with the LED light of the magnifier turned on. To make the page even brighter, I shine a flashlight under the magnifier which adds to the magnifier's clarity. There is no glare in the unlighted area. The magnifier also works well with a ceiling light (slight glare). The magnifier's own LED light is very effective in both a dark and lighted area.

    Lightweight and bright!
    This is a great magnifier for reading....so much easier than using a magnifying glass and provides much-needed illumination when grading student papers. Wish I had ordered sooner! My only suggestion would be a little kickstand to prop it up for hands-free reading. Otherwise, it is perfect. I ordered two more for my husband and daughter.

    Very bright, light, but some distortion on edges
    My mother can easily hold this and read pill bottles and invoices. The edges are stretched but it's so large that you can still read things. Compared to my 3" heavy glass magnifier the edges are not quite as good. The feather weight and brightness are a big bonus over glass.

    Amazing tool for reading!
    This was an amazing tool for reading! I did not have to wear my reading glasses to enjoy my book. It also is just a great magnifier to have around for reading any small print. I recommend this purchase for anyone, especially seniors.

    Magnifier works
    I was looking for something like that for sometime, and finally found. Used it for reading small print and so far I like it, don’t have to ask someone to reads fine print. Price is reasonable ( no battery’s small drawback) , The magnification can be a bit stronger ( a least for me ). Recommended to buy for older people- it is easier to read fine prints.

    MY WIFES EYESIGHT IS BAD, THIS REALLY HELPS HER SEE BOOKS AND THE NEWSPAPER, JUST A GREAT PRODUCT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH SMALL PRINT.
