Question: how cold does it get?
Answer: The pack freezes to solid. Or st least it did in my freezer. You can also just put it in the fridge for less cold -

Question: What parts of the head/neck/face are covered with the cold pack when using this product? I need cold on top & sides of my head, as well as the neck &
Answer: The only parts of the body that get direct contact with the cold are the nape of the neck and the eyes. --HOWEVER -- don't discount it just yet. The whole thing fits like a skullcap - the part on your skull is only the stretchy fabric. This means you can adjust it to make the eye cover fall on your forehead rather than your eyes or on your shoulders rather than the nape of your neck, etc. But I, too, need cold on my entire shoulders, head, eyes and forehead and have found that with a little rigging this product works very well for me. I take other cold packs that I have and stuff them under the stretchy fabric that way the rest of my skull gets covered with cold and the packs don't move around. It's not ideal but I've not seen anything better out there. -
Question: Does the herbal mix contain lavender?
Answer: Yes it does. It has worked wonders! -
Question: Can you use it regular without the heat or cold?
Answer: I’ve never tried but I would think so. -
Question: Is it gel?
Answer: Not Gel. It feels like beads.
