      Answer: It seems to be working with all iPhones.     • Question: Is this unit the same as dario™ lc blood glucose monitoring system for iphone®?

      Answer: Dario has two types of meters, one specially designed for iso (iPhone) devices and another designed for android devices.
    • Question: Will this work with a Moto action one (Android 11)?

      Answer: I'm pretty sure it will.
    • Question: The device stopped working. I am testing the same way as months ago the strips no longer seem to register when blood sample is placed on the strip

      Answer: Having never experienced this problem, I’m probably not your best source but……how old are the strips and how long since the strips were opened? If possible, try new strips. Also, I’d probably clean your phone port. Also, I’ve talked to Dario customer service about another problem and they were very helpful with no wait time. Good luck.
    • Question: Works with Apple Watch

      Answer: There is no place on an Apple watch to plug in the monitoring device. If you have an Apple watch, you have an iPhone. Use your iPhone.
    • Question: What does “balanced” mean as a blood glucose result?

      Answer: As a nurse i have expierenced this issue with many monitors. You can take your blood sugar twice in a row with the same monitor and be off more than 30 points most of the time. Sad but true and not indicative of this monitor.
    • Question: Will this work with my iPhone 6+ if I have it in an otter box? Does it plug into the charger port or the ear bud part?

      Answer: I have an iPhone 10, and do not have an otter box, so I do not know if the iPhone and otter box will work together with the Dario kit. I had to cut the charger port off to get reliable charger port readings. I was able to trim the port to fit, and am using the trimmed port. Don't know if this has affected the water proof port cover.
    • Question: I have an iphone 8 plus, software 15.2.1: will this meter will work with this configuration? thank you.

      Answer: Mine only worked once. I cant recommend this product at all.

    Lancets are too expensive to rebuy
    Is a good product of the lancets were not so expensive to buy. I mean honestly, you're better off buying a whole new system because it comes with lancets this is ridiculous so I really can't give this product they're too good of a review because of that. This is how they get you

    Great Concept, Very Convenient but Has Some Flaws
    Overall this is a great concept for checking your blood glucose when not home. However..... The Bad - 1. It consistently reads lower than my FreeStyle Freedom Lite meter. I tried contacting Dario Support via email twice and never received a response! So I talked to a Nurse about it and actually checked my blood levels in her presence and the Dario was lower -- she said the difference was within the range of error for meters (I believe she said a 15% range difference is acceptable). I purchased the Dario Glucose Control Solutions to check my meter and always checks within the acceptable range. 2. The lancet design needs some re-work. It is very hard to put a need lancet in the mechanism and it does not eject consistently. At times it will eject properly and other times it won't eject at all. I also have problems "cocking" the mechanism to eject. I gave up on the Dario lancet and use my old trusty One-Touch Lancet mechanism, never fails. 3. Supplies are a bit more expensive than my FreeStyle Freedom Lite meter. I guess to be expected for the convenience. The Good - 1. Very convenient when not home. I did get a larger carrying case to hold my One-Touch Lancet mechanism and alcohol wipes. 2. The iPhone App works great. Easy to use and read. My doctor/nurse like it when I can show them results during my checkups! Plus, it integrates with Apple Health. 3. I will continue to use it until a better product hits the market.

    Works but had to remove case to plug it in
    This is a neat idea, but the plug is not long enough to plug it in with most phone cases I've tried. Removing the case each time I wanted to use it made it impractical. The results seemed within range of my other devices.

    Works well and integrates into phone
    Works great and records the results directly on the phone. It is nice that it is like an "all in one" kit solution. Super convenient when you travel.

    This changed my testing procedure and made life easier. I now don't need to carry all my separate lancet machine and strips
