Question: Does go around the thigh or need to slip over the foot
Answer: There is a Velcro strap that allows you to wrap/position the device around the thigh. If the person is unable to manipulate the strap they could also slip it over their foot and bring it up around the thigh. Despite how they get the strap on, it should always rest on the thigh. However, there is another assistive device that is a long stick with a loop around the end that is supposed slip around the foot. It is called a leg lifter. I hope this is helpful. -
Question: Will the strap stay on your leg in the shower or will it fall down
Answer: It Was a waste of money for me it hurt my leg -
Question: What size leg will this fit on the smallest end? I have skinny legs.
Answer: The lift Is adjustable with a Velcro strap. I use this strap on my upper leg between the knee and hip. This is area of my leg is about 28 inches at the widest part. -
Question: Does this open completely so it can be attached on the thigh or does it need to be slipped on over the end of the foot and moved up the leg?
Answer: It can be opened up completely so it does not have to slip over the foot. -
Question: Could i put this on one handed?
Answer: Yes I believe you would be able to accomplish one handed -
Question: How small will this adjust? My thigh is 18 to 20" and it needs to be tight so it doesn't slide out of my reach while in bed.
Answer: There are adjustments and it should fit your thigh. I might not want it too tight as it might compromise your blood circulation while you are sleeping.
