Question: How hot does it get? I need something that gets nice and hot. Or at least super warm.
Answer: this gets really warm not hot it works great. -
Question: Does it heat up in the top and front of the shoulder area?
Answer: Not really, the heat is high up on the back and covers the shoulder blade area. I have a plethora of back treatment aids, this one is average. I use it to fall asleep. It has an auto cutoff time, but I cannot tell you how long that is. -
Question: Can you use both the heat and the massage functions at the same time?
Answer: Yes, you can use both the heat and the massage at the same time. Also, you can use one of them independently. -
Question: Does this work on the front of the shoulder?
Answer: Heat covers most of the shoulders. As the heat covers the top it gives warmth to the front. A little less heat but you can feel it. -

Answer: You can wipe it with a slightly moist cloth and dry it thoroughly. -
Question: How hot does this get? i want hot. i used the pad that just broke at 5-6 of 6 settings. are the massagers uncomfortable if you use it laying down?
Answer: To me it doesn’t feel like it gets real hot. I’ve had hotter heating pads before. You can’t really lay on it because the little motor sticks up and is about 3-4 inches long. A bit bumpy. I hope this helps. -

Answer: Yes,you can cycle through high,low and off settings.
