Question: is the ramp flat or is there an arc at the bend? if so, what is that angle?
Answer: Hello. All our ramp is flat How long ramp you need? Caused 6ft and 10ft ramp is design for easy to carry, it is collapsible. So the middle has a little hamp when the ramp do not load any weight, but once you stand on it, it will be flat, the hamp will gone. it is very sturdy, it can hold 600lbs . 3 ft and 4ft are all flat. -
Question: Would 10 foot ramp work for 6 stairs?
Answer: We used it for 3. Not sure it would work for 6. Only if they are very short step -
Question: How wide is the gap between the two planks when folded out? My wife's chair has a wheel in the center so I need a really narrow gap.
Answer: There was no gap. That I can remember. We did have to brace it under the gap as there was a lot of bounce without the reinforcement -
Question: Can this ramp go up 3 brick steps ?
Answer: It can easily do that. It's a bit short for the 2 steps into and out of the house, but I'm managing. -
Question: Will the 10' ramp handle a 4 step entry with a 26" rise above ground level?
Answer: Yes it will , but I had to use a couple of jack stands in the middle for more support and safety . Guess you can use other things to support it . -
Question: My parents have steps to their home. The incline of the tallest step is 32" will this work? Some of the ramps recommend 1 foot per inch of incline?
Answer: would be pretty steep, i use these on a 12in step and i have to get a run at in my chair. honestly the longer the more gradual the slope. My front door ramp is about the height your asking and to keep my ramp with a gradual incline its 12ft long. Hope this helps. -
Question: would this work for my mother who uses a walker..either for an 18 inch or 22 inch rise?
Answer: Yes it will work with a little middle support , wife used with wheelchair and I supported the middle with car jacks . to make from sagging when you reached the center of the ramp . . -
Question: Can I attach handrails on this ramp?
Answer: It could be done , but For safety , I would not recommend this .
