Answer: Hi, This massager works best on specific pressure points. I wouldn't use it on the jaw or the neck. Pressure is needed for it to be effective. -
Question: Surgeon recommended this to break up scar tissue from severe wrist fracture. Is it better to use with recommended massage cream or can you use alone?
Answer: Yes. Use it with a cream of some type. My tech recommended cocoa butter. I used Vaseline as I didn't want to buy anything extra and it was fine. -

Question: How does it break up scar tissue? And if so how long does it take? and how many times a day is it recommended to use it?
Answer: I don't know how it breaks up the scar tissue. I believe it is the repeated motion in massage. My therapist used this when I went for treatment 2x a week and I used it once a day for about 20 minutes. I had therapy for several months on my finger which had severed nerve and tendon. I believe the number of times a day you use it would depend on your doctor or therapist's recommendation. Hope this is helpful. -

Question: What kind of battery does this massager run on? C? D?
Answer: Honestly, I bought this product and I dont use it because it's not powerful at all. It's probably one of the worst medical products I bought. I think its a C Battery though. I think I lost it somewhere because its no good. Tried to return it but I missed the 30 day period :'( -
