    • Question: Hi, i wanted to confirm if this product is compatible with the hx6610? i rarely see references to this model.

      Answer: The description states: "It is suitable for HX67XX/HX69XX/HX93XX series electric toothbrushes." Would suggest you look at your toothbrush to see if the parts look the same. If you are not sure, you can take the entire insides of the toothbrush out by prying the bottom rubber seal away from the housing and then the whole insides comes with it. You can also contact the maker of the toothbrush.

    • Question: how do i install? do i need to take current piece off?

      Answer: You have to turn the toothbrush upside down. Then you need a small screwdriver to pry the edge of the toothbrush away from the bottom part where all the writing is with a hole in the center. Use the screwdriver to start to force the bottom section out and away from the case itself. What happens then is the entire insides of the toothbrush can be pulled out of the case. You can then replace the parts you just purchased.

    Saved my toothbrush!
    I have a Sonicare (HX6980) that was purchased 6 or 7 years ago. It had black mold in some tight places and I thought I would just have to buy a new one. I found the video for this product first then ordered these replacement pieces. Quick and easy to follow video. Saved my toothbrush! And also now I just keep the head off the toothbrush when I’m not using it to try to prevent that build-up.

    Fixed my Sonicare toothbrush while saving 💰
    Florida’s hard water was destroying my gasket and this kit was a perfect fit and I was able to restore/repair my toothbrush. I had to apply a light application of foam soap to the rubber gasket so it would slide all the way into the case. Take your time opening the bottom of the case. Plenty of how to videos on the web.

    Saves your toothbrush
    This saves your toothbrush... A few years ago my first sonic are toothbrush died, so I took it apart and found water had got inside and corroded the motor, circuit board and battery. This was from the rubber seal under the brush head failing and it let water in. I think this design flaw is on purpose so the brushes have a limited life. I recently noticed the seal on my current brush looking pretty bad and came across this replacement seal. You do have to take the brush guts out of the handle, so there is a chance you break it. But, the disassembly is very easy, there are many videos on how to do it. This took me 5 minutes to install. It was a perfect fit.

    Saved my Sonicare.
    I didn’t even know my $200 toothbrush would mold. I tried everything to clean it when I saw the mold and it wouldn’t come off. I was really bummed and thought I’d have to get a new toothbrush well this bit was a lifesaver ! We used an air compressor to get the battery off and this went on super easy and no water is getting into the battery area it’s super tight.
