Question: How thick are these pads - nothing seems to be mentioned about that
Answer: I couldn't give you an exact measurement, however I laid a penny next to it seems to be about that thick. There is an outer "casing" where the nonstick gauze is. Inside the nonstick part is the "batting" which might be able to be pulled a bit to add "fluff" but would need to be done so in a delicate manner. -
Question: where are these made?
Answer: I have no idea as I was a customer. However my husband did not like them as well as the Wallgreens brand at our local pharmacy, so we never reordered. -
Question: Do these pads have a shiny coat to them? Looking for something that I can put the ointment on, then stick to my legs before wrapping them.
Answer: no they are not coated. They are clean gauze - true to size- individually wrapped. If you are used to the more expensive sterile pads (we were paying close to $10 for just 25 in Manhattan) they are a little thinner (maybe 5 layers instead of 8). Hope this helps! -
