    • Question: Are these really 12 ply?

      Answer: They are *technically* 12-ply. However, the weaving is so loose that their absorbency is more comparable to something that is 4-ply. They are folded over 4 times to create the 12 layers, and the gaps between the weaving on a single layer averages to around 3mm or 1/8". They still work for what I need them for, but it does feel a little deceptive.
    • Question: are these woven?

      Answer: Yes, they are, a fairly loose weave. But they are plain gauze and nothing else, if that’s what you need— no coating, nothing added.
    • Question: Are these individually wrapped?

      Answer: Sorry. No. They aren't thick only. They were only going to be used to cleanse and exfoliate so it did not matter if they were individually wrapped or not.
    • Question: Does this product have an expiry date?

      Answer: Ot that i'm aware of. I mean, why would gauze have an expiry date?
    • Question: Are these able to be unfolded to cover a larger area?

      Answer: Yes, they can each be unfolded to have one larger square, but the square will be very thin and so you will need to use multiple gauze pad
    • Question: Would these be suitable to use for applicators of poly wipe on varnish?

      Answer: Yes ! I would definitely use it for applying Varnish, if you don't mind the pieces of cloth on the finish. Why not use a fine brush that is actually used for applying Varnish ?
    • Question: How big are they when unfolded?

      Answer: I’m going to suggest that they are extremely thin (because they’re not 12-ply) and absolutely aren’t worth the effort to unfold to cover a bigger area or extend the overall quantity.
    • Question: Are these lint free?

      Answer: I don’t really know. The package arrived ripped open, so I couldn’t use them because they were no longer sterile. I received a refund.

      Answer: The packaging says Made in China
