Answer: Corn mint. This product is not Peppermint. Someone should report them for putting "Peppermint" on the label and ask for damages. -

Answer: Menta Arvensis. It is cheap corn mint, not expensive Peppermint. You aren't getting a deal on Peppermint Oil, because you aren't buying peppermint oil. You are being scammed into buying corn mint by a company that fraudulently put "PEPPERMINT" on the label. Look up "Snake Oil Salesmen" if you want a historical definition of what they are doing. -
Question: The bottle says mentha arvensis. peppermint oil is mentha peperita. are the products interchangeable or was i lied to?
Answer: The main constituents of MPEO are menthol (20–60%), menthone (5–35%), menthyl acetate (1–20%), and menthofuran (0.1–15%). MAEO is dominated by menthol (above 60%) and menthone (4–18%). Menthol is separated from this oil by crystallization and the remaining oil has an appearance and odor resembling MPEO. The dementholized MAEO is used as a cheap alternative to MPEO, but it is easily recognized organoleptically because of its harsh flavor. -
Question: There are many different varieties of peppermint, what is the botanical name of the variety your oil is extracted from?
Answer: False: There is only one type of Peppermint (Mentha Piperita). Anything else is a lie or a scam. There are many different types of mint, however, like Mentha Arvensis, which is what this company is trying to pass off as Peppermint. -

Question: I have heard pure peppermint oil needs to be stored in a glass bottle. Yet these come in plastic. Does anyone know anything about this?
Answer: That should be your clue, it's not Peppermint. Plus, it says under where it says it's "Peppermint" that it's not Peppermint since Mentha Arvensis is corn mint. You'll get cheap corn mint. It's ludicrous that this is allowed to continue. -
Question: Is this demetholized?
Answer: Possibly, she's referring to the practice labs use to extract menthol from corn mint oil, which is what this product is (it's not Peppermint like the label reads) to use in other menthol products. After, they still have mint oil with a low concentration of menthol, which could be what this stuff is. I bought a bottle of this and not only was it gross smelling, it was also low on menthol. -
Question: Does this help repel mice?
Answer: It seems to. I put Peppermint oil on cotton balls,put them in locations where I saw mice evidence and haven’t seen any signs of them revisiting me. I replace the cotton balls from time to time. I used repellent spray and it did nothing. -
Question: what is the shelf life of this product after opening?
Answer: Don’t waste your money this product isn’t what it pretends to be - it’s a waste of money! What’s the shelve life of water! Buyer Beware! -

Answer: Yeah, it's a scam. It's not even Peppermint. Go to the top right-hand corner; hover over account & lists; click orders; find your order; click return; and follow the instructions.
