Question: how does it hold up after repeated showering?
Answer: We unfortunately have not been able to use this as my mom suffered a stroke that has taken her independence. -

Answer: It's very easy to assemble the chair and the instructions are very simple making the whole process very fast and non confusing at all. -
Question: What are the package dimensions? I want to take it along as a checked-in baggage on international flights.
Answer: No clue, sorry! I long ago got rid of the packaging, so...sorry! -
Question: Can this item be shipped international?
Answer: I don't know. You should definitely ask the seller. -
Question: Does the arm rest raise up for transfer
Answer: The arm rest neither raises up nor can be removed, and basically the only way to fold this device is to disassemble it. -
Question: width of seat?
Answer: 17" seat width. For a product made 450 lbs weight it isn't very wide. I bought it for my wife and it fit her so tight we can't really use it. -
Question: how does it fold up?
Answer: The arms fold down to the side. For my use, the folding-arms feature makes transfers on and off the bed and in and out of the shower much easier than if I had to navigate over or around the arm. I was unable to use the back of the chair because it didn't hook on correctly, but I have found that I don't need it anyway, so I don't care. When I fold the arms down, then the commode is only as high as the seat (which is adjustable by raising or lowering the legs). -
Question: Can we remove the footrest piece from the wheeled legs? We need the wheels but the footrest prevents us from getting the chair in the shower
Answer: Yes, we took it off as it was in the way.
