Answer: Yes, it can be folded for better transport -
Question: I bought this for my mom in july. it snapped in half. she was lucky she wasn’t hurt. i have the pieces if you want it back.
Answer: Sorry to hear that. I am a customer like you so I have no authority in returning your money. The walking stick was used for me to steady me while I walked. I did not use it as a cane. Probably the cane is made differently due to others placing their weight on them while they use it. -
Question: Is the hard rubber base replaceable with another base that stands more solidly: this base is useless as it will not stand by itself?
Answer: It will stand upright. -
Question: Will a 3/4 inch tip fit the cane?
Answer: I don't know and I would ABSOLUTELY never change the tip. The foot on this cane is one its greatest features. I enables a natural rocking rhythm that increases your ability to stand straight and walk without bending over. -
Question: Diameter of cane
Answer: If you carefully look at the photo you may see that the cane is in sections. The top cylinder is 1 in. across. Hope that helps! This is still the best cane I’ve used. Although it separates, I’ve never needed to use this function. -
Question: I am taller than 6'2" will this still help?
Answer: I think it will be a help more than the other ones on the market, because of your height, and it will enable you to stand up straight that's why I think it will work for you. -
Question: How do you adjust the height on the cane?
Answer: The cane adjusts like a normal cane. There are holes drilled into the tube and you adjust up or down using the holes, and tightening the nut to hold it in place. Very simple mechanism. -
Question: Height adjustment to what height? I'm 6' 2", and would like to walk upright.
Answer: I'm 5'10 and have 3 more adjustments left on the height measuring to go! So you being 6'2 it should work just fine using this can -
Question: What is the weight limit?
Answer: Because the cane is designed mostly for posture and balance, I don't believe there is a weight limit like an ordinary cane. You don't normally put a lot of downward weight on this cane like you can with an ordinary cane.
