      Answer: It says the ingredients are goldenseal root, purified water and vegetable glycerin so I would say that it is free of eggs and nuts. I know that it really helped my daughter's elderly dog with a bad tooth.

    Used for gunky eyes on a duck
    It helped clear up gunky eyes on a duck. Do your research, and give a try. I think you will be pleased with the results.

    One of my favorite panaceas.
    Caused this for an eye infection and stye. Worked in 1 day. You can never go wrong with goldenseal.

    Goldenseal is over priced no matter it's form.
    So useful and so over priced. I use for canker sores and even sometimes infections in mouth due to injury like biting my tongue. It works and I'm a believer. A few drops in a small amount of water to make a decent concentrated solution to apply to canker sore via mouth wash style or by cotton swab depends on need. So this helps with some sore throats too. Meantime can work better than prescriptions in some cases. I'm allergic to lidocaine and benzocaine both so this is so helpful. A missionary friend shared how to use it over 10 years ago during a time I was going through 2 years of misery with a bad orthodontists work. He was to repair an age related problem actual underlying cause do to bad dentists work 20 years earlier. Told it would take 7 months top to fix. Instead it was over 2 years of infection after infection and dangerous use of latex materials in my mouth with continued use of latex products knowing and being reminded every visit I'm ultra latex sensitive. Anyway the items they used tore up my mouth causing severe infections and golden seal worked when antibiotics did not or were slow to help. Ever since I keep it on hand in powder, capsule and liquid forms. Seems to help with occasional sore throats too. I do not use to drink just to apply to sores.
