      Answer: Package says "Made in China." (FYI, it's very well made, of super heavy-duty material. Huge difference between this and typical gait belts.)
    • Question: Is there a weight limitation of the person wearing this belt ?

      Answer: No information in the package re maximum weight. (It looks really tough; hard to imagine this failing under anyone's body weight.)
    • Question: Can this be used in a shower chair where it will get wet?

      Answer: It's made of a webbed material and likely dries pretty quickly. We never used it that way, but I don't see why you couldn't.

    What a life saver
    A must have for anyone who needs help. Very well made and durable. Lots of handles and Velcro closer makes this belt, so easy to use safely and confidently.

    Stiff
    Belt is made well but is very stiff and wide making it very uncomfortable for older patient. I was not able to use it for my mother.

    Gait Belt
    Good belt. If person has hard time standing then one might want to consider the type of gait belt with leg belts too to add more support when transferring, etc. Without the leg straps they belt tends to ride up.
