Answer: I cannot tell you whether or not it works on grease as I am waiting for my carpet shampooer to be delivered. But I would pretreat your grease stain with Dawn dish soap and spot clean as much as You can first. I honestly don’t know if any soap that cuts grease the way Dawn dish soap does. Hope your carpet stains goes away! -

Answer: I've never had to do that but I doubt it would take out a color stain. This product is for cleaning dirt in the carpet. -

Answer: The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) can be found below the detailed product description. Sodium citrate is the primary active ingredient. It’s the sodium salt of citric acid—a naturally occurring weak acid derived from citrus fruits. Citric acid is a common preservative in the foods we eat, gives bath bombs the fizz we enjoy, and is found in many household cleaners and laundry detergent. C9-11 is a surfactant and emulsifier, also derived naturally. It’s a cleaning agent and is also found in detergents and personal hygiene products.
