Answer: In order for a product to be labeled "food grade", it has to go through more regulatory processes, which increases the price of the product. "Food grade" peppermint oil is the exact same product as peppermint essential oil, just cheaper. -

Question: I need peppermint oil to soak cotton balls as a squirrel deterrent. So, just how minty is this? I need max strength!
Answer: this is minty. I put cotton balls with peppermint oil down gopher holes and the next morning they had pushed them out of the holes. I now mix the oil with water and pour it down the holes. This seems to work better. I guess you could pour this mixture on the ground also -
Question: Can someone vouch that this works well to repel mice/rats? Hard to find one for a good deal.
Answer: Peppermint essential oil mixed with water and a little vinegar in spray bottle does repel mice. My exterminator was just here and said it true. Lemon essential oil mixed with water and small amount of vinegar in spray bottle stops dog from peeing on furniture. It works! I spray on floor around of corners of chairs or anywhere he likes to pee. No more pee! He goes out doggie door. It smells good too -

Answer: The one I buy comes in a green glass bottle with its dropper. I will keep on buying this product. -

Answer: As you have not mentioned exactly what application or means of inhaling this product and the manufacturer does not specifically state how to do so , I would advise against it until you contact the company directly and ask them. I personally bought the oil as a natural mouse deterrent for my home. I will recommend this for that purpose and all others listed by Naturalitana under the description section. The oil has a lovely scent and I even add it to water and damp sponge my floors. Good luck getting confirmation it is suitable for your intention, I am sure you will like the oil!! -

The EO has a cooling and revitalizing effect on the skin and can help to heal and soothe cracked lips due to the oil's menthol content. This one says topical use, so I'm not sure exactly. However, I didn't realize it was in this shampoo at a hotel I had visited and my skin was so irritated. My scalp was on fire (not literally), I had to wash my scalp various time under a cool shower, so I myself would not recommend it. I use it in my mop water to lightly scent my home; I do like the refreshing smell.
