Our extra-strength stain-fighting formula. This super-powered Super Powder packs a powerful punch when it comes to cleaning dirty laundry. Using earth-derived ingredients, this formula is extra gentle for even the most sensitive skin. Our Super Powder provides targeted stain action to break apart stains, oils, grease, and dirt. These molecules move at lightning-fast speed as they bind with and break down bonds that hold stains in fabric. Super Powder also offers gentle brightening for whites, mixed, and colored fabrics, and helps to prevent the soil deposition which causes greying and dinginess on light clothing. Question: Can you use this in an HE washer?
Answer: Yes! All of our detergents are safe for standard, HE, and commercial washing machines. Our powder detergents do best when you add it directly to your drum and then toss in your laundry. -
Question: With most of the ingredients being on the basic pH side, can this be used in combination with vinegar used as a softener (vinegar being acidic)?
Answer: Hi! Thank you for your question! We recommend adding 1/4 of a cup of white distilled vinegar in your main wash cycle. Vinegar is a great natural water softener and color booster. Hope this helps! -
Question: Does this detergent come in a plastic bag?
Answer: I believe so, but according to the website, it is recyclable. "Our powder products are currently packaged in a recyclable #7 plastic and printed with non-toxic ink!" -
Question: I see many people mentioning a vomit smell after using. Any explanation?
Answer: The odor some customers are smelling is caused by the active enzymes in the Super Powder formula while they digest particular proteins while they clean. Depending on what they're digesting (especially milk), this smell can range from musty to vomity. Some of our customers experience odor this when using Super Powder for the first time. Our Original Laundry Powder does not contain active enzymes, so you wouldn't have experienced this if you were using this detergent prior. This isn't something that we hear a lot about and we're still learning how these enzymes are playing a role in this odor. We're currently working with our chemist to have a better understanding of the reasons certain customers notice this smell while others do not. Running your clothes through a rinse cycle with a 1/4 cup of distilled vinegar will deactivate the enzymes, eliminate the smell, and keep it from coming back. Also, vinegar works wonders to prevent hard water, clean your washing machine, and soften your clothes. -

Question: Seller: disodium laureth sulfosuccinate has safety concerns per the safety data sheet on parchem (produced w/ethylene oxide) can you chime in please?
Answer: We do not use this ingredient. We use Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate. This ingredient might sound intimidating, but it’s actually exceptionally safe. It is a naturally-derived, gentle, sugar-based surfactant. Unlike other acid-based surfactants, such as sodium lauryl sulfate, this natural, safe surfactant is sulfate-free and non-irritating. We use it in our formulas thanks to its excellent performance profile in cleansing. It helps to build a stable, wet layer of bubbles that pull oil, debris, and dirt from your laundry to be easily rinsed away. When it comes to safety ratings, sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypropylsulfonate is at the top of the list, especially when compared to ordinary sulfates, ether sulfates, and sulfonates. It’s biodegradable, safe for the environment, and we source ours from renewable plant feedstock sources. It meets demanding regulatory requirements including NPA, NSF, DFE and USDA Biobased. It’s rated #1 on the safety scale of the EWG. -
Question: Every time I use this, I get powder in my lungs. Does this happen to anyone else?
Answer: In regards to the issue with the powder dust - it does happen with powder, it cannot be helped, but we do suggest standing back a bit from the bag or using a reusable decorative glass (then, each time you would just open the lid and scoop!). We do recommend opening and scooping our Super Powder at waist level to prevent any possible inhalation. Though our products are made from entirely safe ingredients, we do not recommend inhaling them in the same sense that you would not want to inhale powdered makeup, flour, etc. We sure hope this helps! Using a truly safe detergent takes a little time to get used to it but it is SO worth it!! Thank you for giving us a try and we really appreciate you! -
Question: Does the lavender scent really smell like lavender eo. i tried the citrus grove and sweet baby shea and both smelled horrible like chemicals.
Answer: I don't use either the lavender, citrus grove or sweet baby shea. I use the activewear formula which has a very light, clean scent. I like it. -
Question: Is the packaging recyclable?

Question: can this be used on wool or silk fabric? Or will the emzymes damage those fibers?
Answer: I use it on all my materials. I love using cold water too for my finer fabrics on a low setting. I personally have not had any issues. Perhaps try half the amount in the scoop if you are worried?
