Answer: It is recyclable if you rinse it out really well. I fill the bottle with water and reuse the little bit of residue to rinse items I handwash. -
Question: I have to put rinse aid in everytime I run the dishwasher. Is this excessive?
Answer: See if there is a setting that controls the amount of rinse for each cycle. If there is a set amount it may be set to maximum and that should be changed to a level that works for your water type and machine. Mine probably uses about 1 ounce every wash or so. -

Answer: It's likely fine. However you may notice a decrease in performance or lack of. I would worry if it was significantly expired, separating or was moldy. I would recommend calling the manufacturer if you need more than an option . -
