- USE: NYOrtho gait belts allow safe handling and mobility of elderly or weak-jointed patients. Gait belts help caregivers provide support and prevent falls. NYOrtho gait belts also protect the back of caregivers and reduce the risk of back injury while assisting the patient.
- MATERIAL: NYOrtho gait belts are made of strong and comfortable 2-inch cotton webbing. Offered in a variety of colors to suit all needs. Neutral colors are available for subtle use or bright patterns are available for easy recognition.
- HEAVY DUTY BUCKLE - Nickel plated buckles allow for superior hold and increased durability. Also available with an easy slide Delrin (plastic) buckle.
- INSTRUCTIONS: Place the belt around the patient's waist with the label facing out on the patient's left side and the buckle in the center of the patient's waist. To fasten the seat belt, thread the metal-tipped end through the buckle hinge, over the teeth, and through the slot in the back of the buckle. Pull on each end of the buckle to tighten and secure the fastening.
