    • Question: Does it magnify clearly through the whole rectangle? Or only in the middle?

      Answer: This illuminates and clearly magnifies over its entire height and width of the field of view, the whole rectangle. But for me, it works best with one eye closed. You do have enough flexibility with the distance you hold it away from the page to easily follow along side-to-side or up-and-down. This one is a keeper.
    • Question: Does this have a usb c ports to charge? in one photo, it shows a micros usb cable, but in one of the images, the port is clearly usb c.

      Answer: the port on the magnifying glass is a USB micro B and the charging cable have on the other side a USB Type A plug.
    • Question: I see that a charging cord is included, but what about the plug? Is the plug included on the end of the cord, or just the cord?

      Answer: One end of the cord plugs into the magnifying unit, the other goes into a USB port... but I find it easier to use my phone charger to charge it from an electrical outlet plug.
    • Question: Can you use a phone adapter to charge this?

      Answer: Yes, I do, and find it much easier.
    • Question: Anybody, please answer me. how long does the charging battery last before you have to recharge again?

      Answer: This is a tough one. Too many factors to predict. Only charged it up once since June 2022. Not used that much and never left it on to run down. Exceptional battery life would be my simple answer.
    • Question: I use reading glasses 2.50 for reading. cannot read very small words. Is this right for me? would I use it with reading glasses?

      Answer: Only you can tell if something is right for you! I do use my reading glasses when using the magnifier and it works wonderfully, the light is the perfect enhancement! For example I use it for the smallest printing on the average prescription bottle.
    • Question: In some of the photos the lights look very bright so is that bothersome to any of you? Would not want them shining in my eyes? thanks

      Answer: If you reread the text, you may discover that the lights can be turned OFF or DIMMED. That is, the lights are adjustable from 0% all the way to 100% to suit the situation. Dimmer works GREAT! Same for the magnifier. Highly recommended.
    • Question: Can you use regular batteries with this light?

      Answer: no you cannot use regular batteries with it. It has a rechargeable battery
    • Question: Is this freznel lens? another item by same company says optical grade glass but is only a freznel lens. ie. grooves on 1 side so text can be blurry.

      Answer: No, its not a fresnel lens, its a "normal" lens out of a kind of plastic like the lenses in regular glasses. The quality seems pretty good to me.

    It is EXACTLY what I hoped it would be... EXCELLENT!
    All I can say is I LOVE it. It works great, the dimmable lights are awesome, everything about it... I'm so happy I bought it. I had been looking at many different products and decided to go with this rechargeable version and I'm super happy I did. It even came with a really nice satin-like case to store the magnifying glass in when you're not using it and it can also be used to clean the lens/glass from fingerprints and stuff as well. VERY NICE, EXCELLENT VALUE, PERFECT. :-)

    Helps in the kitchen!
    I know my eyes are aging along with the rest of me, but reading the microscopically small and light typeface on a can or a jar is impossible. I bought this specifically for that purpose along with help reading other printed materials that are unreasonably small. Having a directed light that is rechargeable was another big draw as well.
