    • Question: Will this work on a sliding glass door threshold?

      Answer: Yes, it can be used. Please confirm the product size and height are suitable for your use before purchase.
    • Question: Can this be used on a threshold that has a height of only 1/2 inch?

      Answer: I'm sure it could; it would require some work to change the angles that are used to make it suitable for that low of a lift. I'd suggest finding a door threshold that would be more suitable as is. My Reudamann is used on a 3.5 inch step and works great for scooter for a handicapped person. Ty
    • Question: Does this item have a flat end in front as I need to take into consideration a door that opens outwards

      Answer: The top of the ramp is curved, so the ramp can rest on your threshold, and the bottom is flat enough to touch the ground.
    • Question: Will thus work on a sliding glass door threshold?

      Answer: It should but you may have to add a wood shim to support it up to the track. Mine were regular door units with aluminum thresholds.... drilled 2 holes & the included anchor pins dropped right in
    • Question: Can this be used for a 4" door step-up? How do you adjust for height needed?

      Answer: It's supposed to max out at 2.5 in. height but I'm using it on a 3 in. rise and left a regular door mat in place to make up for the .5 in. difference. Works great but when I step on it I can feel it flex a bit. So I guess you could but your stretching it with 4 in.
    • Question: Does it need to be screwed in to work?

      Answer: I highly recommend screwing it in place. Securing it would be the safest. Not screwed down, it will sit in place if the top area (which is angled to sit on the threshold) sits flat on the threshold, and the bottom edge sits solidly on the ground. However, there is the possibility of it slipping off the threshold (if accidentally kicked), if it is not securely fastened in place.
    • Question: What is the difference on model numbers? I see all the same size?

      Answer: The sizes (length, width and/or height) are all different. The MR807 40 is 31.5 x 15.7 x 1.6 inches; the MR807 25 is 31.5 x 12 x 0.6 inches, and the MR807 30 is 11.8 x 31.9 x 0.6 inches.
    • Question: Can i use this for a shower with a 2 1/2 inch rise?

      Answer: It depends on what you want to use it with. You would probably need 2 of them, one for each side if the shower is raised on both sides. The outer ramp would probably work with a wheel chair, but I doubt if you used an inner ramp if the shower would be deep enough to turn. I have used mine on an elevation up to 3” and it worked great. They are very light and strong. Not sure if that helps or not.
    • Question: How do i order the MR 807-30?

      Answer: Measure your threshold width & that is the ramp width ..... for the length.... estimated how far out that would give me the ramp slope I wanted. I probably should have added 6” to my estimate.... ramp works fine but would have made an easier transition.
    • Question: Does this require installation of any kind?

      Answer: We just lay it down on the threshold and use it. This way it can be used at other doors. It can be installed, but the door may not close if not enough clearance at bottom. Hope this helps.

    Sturdy and safe short ramp
    I wouldn't say these are cheap, but they're really well-made. Nice and thick, there's zero flex to them. Non-slip coating feels good. Ramp looks very nice with black surface and yellow stripes on the side so you can see the edges. Some of the photos have the manufacturers word logo written on it. I've ordered 2 of these and neither had that, which I like, because I like a clean, simple appearance. Easily moveable between locations although it's not super light weight. The only thing I'd want is for them to make a longer version. I got the longest available (16 inches) and I'd say if you have a rise more than 3 to 4 inches, these ramps could be too steep depending on how you're using them. A 22 to 24 inch model would be good.

    A sturdy door ramp!
    Being wheelchair bound due to an amputation this is a lifesaver to get into and out of the house on my own. It also made it easier on my wife who had to really work to get the wheels up over the hump and I felt trapped inside my home unless someone else was there to assist!

    Small but Mighty!
    This ramp is my lil'buddy now! Perfect to roll hubby out and in sliding glass doors for transport. Going out is easier if you roll wheelchair backwards. Going in, the opposite. At least it works best for us that way. As with any transport of hampered loved ones, of course you need to check balancing and surface areas to prevent tip over/falls. I bought one until I could check it out. Will be ordering another soon. Hunny only weighs around 165 so no worries with supporting he and his ride. TOTALLY impressed when our Baxter driver (dialysis supplies) was able to hand truck up the ramp with full load of boxes without a hiccup! Boxes of solution for peritoneal dialysis are VERY heavy. My lil'buddy handled all four trips in with ease. My driver was thrilled. He has graciously been manhandling our delivery over the slider threshold for 4 years! I think he would have hugged me, but COVID rules ya know ;~( It only weighs around 14-15 lbs. Even this ol'lady, with advanced arthritis, can pick it up and move it as needed. Sorry, I'm obsessing! My excuse is, I'm just so darned pleased with the purchase. I recommend buying it for the type of use I have described at least. Happy ramping y'all!

    Great ramp
    Works perfectly for my scooter & Alinker bike. So hot here in Texas, feels nice to get in & out easily.

    Exactly as advertised
    Worked very well for our application. Installation was very easy. It's a very sturdy ramp. Required a little trimming, but that was to fit our thin door opening.

    It works great for my needs. Hopefully it keeps this old woman from falling on uneven threshold.
    Very well made. Easy to install. We just placed it where we wanted it.
