- Best-in-class materials: FSC-certified MOSO bamboo, toxin-free paint, and DuPont nylon bristles. While we'd love to use biodegradable bristles, the only truly effective plastic-free bristle option available at the moment is boar bristles, which is not an option for us, as it's not vegan. We continue to investigate biodegradable bristle options, but until there is a viable option, we will continue to use DuPont nylon bristles so as not to compromise our customers' oral health.
- 🌿 RECYCLABLE PACKAGING - All of our packaging is plastic-free recyclable kraft packaging using toxin-free vegetable dyes. We do not believe in the use of excess packaging. Simply run your toothbrushes under hot water before use.
- 🌿 END OF LIFE - Bamboo is a natural product and if not kept dry it can develop mold. This is important in bathrooms where it can get hot and humid. Once your toothbrush has reached the end of its useful life, pry out the bristles with a pair of pliers and the compost handle. As it is possible to pull on the bristles with force, we do not recommend this product for babies who chew on their toothbrushes, as the bristles may become detached. Dentists recommend changing toothbrushes every 3 months.
