Question: will ahh some work better or differently if the 2 hour washing machine sanitizing cycle is run instead of the short 22 minute hot cycle?
Answer: That cycle may allow the product to be slightly more effective. We have heard from some users who have said the did this and were happy with the results. Anytime you get your machine to work in concert with our cleaner, the end result should be better. Remember to always do another regular load of laundry using your detergent so any foul odors may be rinsed away after we disturb the bio-contaminants with the Ahh-Some Cleaner & Deodorizer. -
Question: Does it get ride of mold or just the smell?
Answer: Yes, we do eliminate mold after a few flushes. -
Question: Is this product really as good as advertised?
Answer: I've been using routinely (weekly or biweekly) and reordering. We have dogs (we'll use towels to clean their paws from muddy days) and we exercise daily so there's some heavy use from this. Also we have soft water (well water) which makes the surfactant hang around. Ok so that's the activity level (compare to your own). The product does a good job but if its your first cleaning ever then you'll likely see better results from getting into a routine. I inspect behind the gasket and the glass (front load machine) so I can see it working. I haven't gone as far as checking filter drain. Try it on your machine inspect for grime and surfactant build up before and follow their instructions. Good luck. -
Question: Will this product remove calcium and mineral build up? Will it remove streaks on the metal and glass door of shower? Can I use to soak shower head
Answer: I was very surprised that this didn't seem to work well at all. I used several times in front end loaders and I did not notice any difference from before using it. I was disappointed in the product. -
Question: How many uses at a half teaspoon would you get for an HE washer?
Answer: 24 half teaspoons or 24 cleaning -
Question: Does the product contain harmful substances?
Answer: No. We use accepted cleaning surfactants at very low percentage actives along with special salt additives. However, with any cleaning product that is effective yiu must use the product in a responsible manner and follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer. -
Question: How does this work in the dishwasher?
Answer: Works OK but it does not last very long. I would say my dishwasher needs another dose in about two weeks. I'm not sure if I would buy again. Too much $$ for too little. The small container only holds about 2 tablespoons of the "Vaseline like" compound. If the results lasted (no trace of odor) for 3-4 weeks, I would say OK but that is not the case. -

Question: My washing machine has yellow algae/mold under the rubber door seal. Will this product reach and destroy the algae?
Answer: Typically NO. However, if you mix some of the gel with water and wipe it around the inside of the seal it will definitely help. -
Question: Is this product septic safe?
Answer: I heard of this product from a home improvement show. A representative from the company was on the show and he stated all of their products are septic safe. Product label also stated septic safe.
