Question: Is an ice pack included with the purchase of the brace, or does one have to purchase the ice pack in addition?
Answer: The ice pack is included. -
Question: Does this stabilize the shoulder too or just hold the ice pack in place?
Answer: I don't think it's made for stabilizing. Perhaps if you really cranked down on the straps, and removed the ice it might provide some support, then it could mold to your shoulder, but not while the ice is in it. Also, the straps for me were real long. When I tightened them they touched each other and I would have liked to tighten another 1-2 inches. I'm 147, 5'6" if that helps you know the strap lengths for yourself. -
Question: What are the dimensions of the ice pack?is is made for left dhoulder
Answer: The ice pack itself is approx. 9x10. It fits into the black sleeve holder. The unit is adaptable to either shoulder. -
Question: Is this for left or right shoulder?
Answer: This adapts to either shoulder. -
Question: Is this product good for all day wear?
Answer: If it's a good fit, it should be fine for all day wear, but the ice pack won't stay cold all day. My physical therapist recommended icing my arm/shoulder three times a day for ten minutes each time, so I haven't worn it all day. I have a shoulder brace that doesn't have an ice pack and it's comfortable all day. -
Question: How to heat evenly in the microwave?
Answer: I just lay it flat, my microwave has a rotating plate and it seems heat evenly. -
Question: Is the ice pack removable so that you can put another one in when the first ice pack is no longer cold?
Answer: Yes it has a removable ice pack. Additionally you can order more ice packs if desired.
