    • Question: Ordered twice. Both orders had one each with dead battery. Why ? Returned the dead ones.

      Answer: Had that happen on one of the several I bought. Just replaced battery and moved on. Love the product and easy to replace!
    • Question: Will this fit in a credit card slot?

      Answer: The lens itself is about the size of a credit card but you wouldn't want to put it in a credit card slot - much thicker than credit card.
    • Question: I want to know if you can read a book with this tiny thing, I have so many books to read especially the bible and I need to know this would be good

      Answer: I think it would be perfect for you, Im so pleased with the quality, would recommend for any one,, magnification is great, for the size however you may consider a bigger option if you want a steady magnifier according to the paper size of the book you are reading, but if you don't mind moving your hand across the lines then its just the right one for you, if your books are pocket size then there would be no problem using this.
    • Question: What is the weight with the case and batteries included?

      Answer: It is very lightweight even with battery. I didn't weigh it but my guess is 6 - 8 0z
    • Question: What type of batteries does this take? and do not say cr2, those will not fit inside this thing.

      Answer: Two CR lithium batteries (3 v.) are used , you just stack them with the smooth surface downward and rough face upward. The two batteries are already included. This magnifier is really good that you will want to buy many and gift them to relatives and friends. I encourage you to buy.
    • Question: how do you open it to replace the battery?

      Answer: In the corner where the light & power button are there is a little clip you pull and out comes the battery compartment
    • Question: What battery does it

      Answer: It comes with batteries already inserted but the description info says it takes 2 CR2 batteri
    • Question: Do you have to hold the button for the light to stay on?

      Answer: No the light stays on when you push the button. I am very pleased with this product.
    • Question: How thick is this? Stated measurements only show length and width, and no side view.

    Great choice
    My only complaint is that it doesn't warn against using rubbing alcohol to disinfect it. Apparently it melts it.

    Excellent for reading menues
    I bought this for my wife who has macular degeneration. This is exactly what she needs to view menues and other small print. It has a light and magnification prism.

    Simple, portable, very effective and convenient.
    This is just what I needed. Something small and that can be easily carried in a pocket or purse. The dual magnification is useful, and I expect the the 3 X magnification section will be mostly used; it works well on most items needing a quick read, such as a bill, a menu or most mail. To read a book I would use something larger with a 4 X magnification, at least for my vision. The device also helps me on the few occasions when I need to check my cell phone. The small LED light worked fine for me so far and really only useful in a dark environment. In a well lit room I doubt it would be needed. Overall, this small magnification device is useful and very practical.
