Question: What are the actual width dimensions of the 1” rise ramp? The diagram shows the width as 5.9”, but when you select the ramp it says width is 7.87”??
Answer: It's 5.9'' width.7.87'' is the package width. -
Question: Im looking for a product that is portable. Does this product need to be fastened to the floor or can I pick it up and use it in different doorways?
Answer: It is not portable. It slides under the door. You do not have to fasten to the door(no screws or nails needed). Can be removed but not like the draft dodgers that sit at the bottom of door and you can just pick them up. I personally wanted one that stays on the door but is not permanent. Hope this helps you. -

Question: will this product hold a screw(s) (what to connect to edge of plywood to eliminate tripping hazard on platform)?
Answer: I drilled a couple of extra holes in the upper lip and used screws to hold it down so their would be no danger pf tripping on the lip. -
Question: Can I cut 45-degree angles and make a corner and connect using biscuit jointer?

Question: Can this ramp be installed on an exterior door and be left outside?
Answer: I am using mine outside, but it has only been about 10 days so far. I am using it to help eliminate a trip hazard from a slightly sunken section of sidewalk. Although this ramp is solid rubber, I don’t know how it will hold up over time, with the changing of seasons and outdoor elements. I am most concerned about the tread pattern, as I feel that would be the first place it would deteriorate. I plan to update my review at a later date to report back on how it holds up. As for the product as it is right now, I am very pleased with it so far and I rated it 5 stars. -
Question: Does it arrive rolled up or is it flat?
Answer: This threshold ramp is made of sturdy material that sits firmly in place when I put it down at the sill of a door. That feature makes it safe to use. I don't remember how it was packaged on arrival but cannot see how it could be rolled up.
