Question: does this work on vinyl plank flooring
Answer: Yes, the WetJet is safe to use on vinyl floors. -The Swiffer Team -
Question: can you use bona refill instead?
Answer: You can cheat the system by soaking the top of the bottle in hot water (I microwave a normal sized coffee cup of water for a minute), then the top screws off and you can whatever type of floor cleaner in you want. Be sure to put to screw the top back on right away before the plastic cools down. Tip - after doing the for a few months, the bottle I was using for refill must not have been as resilient and the cleaning liquid all leaked out (over the course of two days) because it is store upside down; to be safe, take the cleaning bottle out and store it right side up when not In use. -
Question: Does anyone know what kind of batteries are needed? This unit says batteries...

Question: I've put it together new. checked online and it is put together right. press button and i hear nothing. no pump or sound of spray. what can i check?
Answer: I too, was concerned it wasn't working when I first tried it. Check the floor in front of the Swiffer carefully with your hand after pressing the button a couple of seconds. You'll likely find it is a bit wet. It doesn't make any noise in operation I could hear either. -
