Question: just need the bottom pad unit for dry?
Answer: Use the dry pads. They are better. Here is what I do. Apply a dry pad. Get my floor cleaning spray bottle out...squirt the floor and start mopping. Keep the swiffer flat using back and forth motion, spray and repeat. The wets ones are to wet and come off easily..pain in the ???? I find this cheaper and easier. So, I use dry pads squirt bottle of my favorite cleaner (I often mix a little Dawn detergent in a bottle with water I have hard wood floors) then grab my spray bottle of floor polish/cleaner and mop after my cleaning drys. Hope this helps. -
Question: Does this item come with the pole?
Answer: Mine came with the bottom, 2 metal poles, and a top handle. It's the perfect height for me but if you don't get all the poles try returning it and asking for the poles. I would 10/10 recommend this product for mopping though. -
Question: Is there a box of stiffer wet pads?
Answer: The mop comes with 3 wet pads in an aluminized envelope bag (not box) and 7 dry cloths in a plastic bag. Altogether, they come in a box. Hope I was able to answer your question. Wish you all the best. -

Answer: Yes I use it on my bathroom walls and Ceiling and it works wonderful even on the wallpaper -
Question: Wooden replacement handle? Is it possible to purchase a more sturdy handle or modify this to work with a standard threaded pole?

Question: Is the heavy duty referring to the pads of the handle itself? I have had two of swifte
Answer: It’s referring to the pads. Bc the heavy duty pads have clump like patches for helping keep larger items in the pad. But the handle is tough enough to say it’s heavy duty. I wouldn’t used it for anything other than cleaning. That’s what it is made for. It works great on hardwood floors, tile floors, laminate floors, etc. -
