Question: Does this work like oxiclean on colored clothes?
Answer: Yes, however all our ingredients are all natural and from the United States. We do not add any surfactants or optical brighteners. If you look at the OxiClean, you will notice blue dots throughout. Those are optical brighteners, a chemical additive that is used to trick your eyes into thinking that your whites are whiter and brighter when in actuality, they are not. Our Oxygen Whitener can be used for colors too - we just suggest you test an area for color fastness because some fabrics/dyes do not adhere well and you could get fading. It does not fade most all colors though! -
Question: how many scoops per package? there have been varying answers previously, ranging from 80-120...
Answer: I had anywhere from 92 to 100 depending on the desired effect. -
Question: Is this product any good?
Answer: I find that it assists my detergent by helping my laundry be brighter and smell fresher. -
Question: Is the packing recyclable?
Answer: Yes I am pretty sure it is. We are moving so my bag is already packed so I can’t double check for you. -
Question: do you use this by itself as a detergent or as a booster for a regular detergent ?
Answer: This is best used as a laundry booster (along with a safe, natural detergent like Molly's Suds Original Laundry Powder). -
Question: Can I use this product with you wool balls because i heard you are not suppose to use oils on wool balls so is it safe to do so?
Answer: I have used this product regularly in my wash and I use wool balls in my dryer. The Molly Suds does not have any type of oil in it. I use it on both my white clothes and my colored clothes equally. I love this product and hope you will too. -
Question: Does this work in cold water?
Answer: Yes!! It will work in cold water, we usually recommend hot water, but it doesn't have to be hot in order to activate our Product. We just suggest hot water because it kills more odor causing bacteria's. -
Question: Should lemon juice still be added to laundry, for bright whites, or does the product's lemon essential oil work as enough of a substitute?
Answer: I do not add lemon juice to my laundry for bright whites. This product has done an amazing job on my white towels. The towels were so drab I almost replaced them. Now with this whitener they are are a lovely white again. It does smell nice when you add it to the washer. -
Question: Does this get rid of odors well? Trying to remove body odor
Answer: I’ve never used it for that but my guess would be no. This is more for whitening clothes not for removing odors. -
Question: Is this safe to use on all laundry (jeans, darks etc?)
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry! Our oxygen whitener is completely safe for all colors! With it being diluted in water as well when washing there is no need to worry. If it's something delicate you can check for colorfastness on a small piece of fabric if you are ever hesitant. We thank you for your support.
