Question: Why do people buy the Deet 30 if the deet 100 exists?
Answer: Hello, Miguel from Tall Ridge here! We recommend picking your product based on the level of insect infestation of the area you are visiting and your desired level of protection. Ben's 30 contains 30% DEET making it a perfect choice when hiking camping or enjoying other outdoor activity in areas of light to heavy insect infestation or wherever ticks may be present. Ben's 100 contains 100% DEET which is the highest concentration available and is recommended in areas of heavy infestation and will provide up to 10 hours of protection against biting insects and ticks. Question: What is the smell?
Answer: A light chemical smell. It's just DEET as far as I know, so no perfumes or additives. It can be detected at first application but becomes less noticable in a few minutes. If you are a hunter you likely use Ben's if you need to because anything less in the sticks isn't enough and the smell factor is low. Deer and other animals are great detectors of smells. You are likely moving upwind anyway but everything helps. The package fits a pocket and it's orange so deer won't notice it visually but you will if you loose it in the sticks. -

Answer: None that I could see on packaging or bottle. I have had other Deet products for over 10 years, they were still effectiv -
Question: Has the leaking/packaging been addressed? Or still an issue?
Answer: It doesn't seem to have been addressed. Mine leaked all over the place and I had to throw away 4 bottles. One of the best bug repellents in one of the worst packages. It's too bad -
