      Answer: Made in China
    • Question: What kind of battery is needed?

      Answer: Battery is included but it you need replace it uses 1.5V DC button type LR41 or SR41, UCC392 or equivalent

    • Question: How long before it beeps?

      Answer: The description states it takes 60–90 seconds (1–1½ minutes). It beeps a long beep with three short beeps if temperature is below 37.8°C / 100.0°F or four quick beeps if temperature is at or above 37.8°C /100.0°F. This is the highest temperature measured during that 60–90 second interval. If you keep it in position (mouth, armpit, rectum), it will continue to collect an exact temperature. This can take between 2–3 total minutes and is done after the device beeps ten times. The exact temperature measurment is reported when the value measured varies no more than 0.1°C for 16 seconds. This is all explained in the description above.
    • Question: Is this a basal body thermometer?

      Answer: This is a thermometer for detecting fever. I’m sure you could use for checking basal temp, but if it were me, I’d just get a thermometer for that purpose.
    • Question: is this Femometer or Malemometer?

      Answer: If you look at the product description, it says: Femometer Digital oral thermometer with LCD screen. Femometer is the name of the company that makes the thermometer. I have no idea what Malemometer is - you must have had an epiphany of some sort????
