      Answer: The tamper width is 1/2 inch. Heads up: These turned out to be a bad buy for me as they are MUCH bigger than I anticipated. They are for tobacco pipes for sure. I bought them for other kinds of pipes and cannot use them.

    Incredible value and use!
    100% recommended! This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to a pipe tool. You can afford to use and abuse them at this price. These pipe tools can also be easily modified to fit your need and last a very long time with VERY LITTLE SKILL and very basic tools. If you question the durability or quality of them then you should also invest in a few more basic hand tools at home and learn to use them HA! ;D

    Cheap and practical
    I had a more expensive tamper and kept losing it (its gone for good now). I bought these cheapies and manage to keep up with them just fine. So far no rusting or anything. Works like a tamper.
