      Answer: Garlic Complex is a size 00 capsule.
    • Question: is this propuct third part tested?

      Answer: Pure Encapsulations has a rigorous testing policy. Each raw material is tested for identity, potency, a complete panel of solvent residues (~32 compounds), heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium) and microbial contaminants. All plant-derived compounds/herbal extracts are also tested for a complete panel of pesticide residues (~70 compounds). Fish oils are also tested for oxidation, PCB’s and PCB-like compounds, dioxins, and furans. In addition, Pure also tests for any specific contaminants known to be potential adulterants; for example, grapefruit seed is tested for several potential preservative contaminants. This testing is done through high-quality, third-party independent laboratories, such as Eurofins and Covance, that are considered the gold standard in the industry. In addition, Pure is NSF-certified. NSF is an outside organization that inspects products and the manufacturing facility for compliance with the FDA GMPs. Pure Encapsulations’ products, as well as their manufacturing and testing procedures, are thoroughly inspected twice annually by the NSF to ensure compliance with the FDA GMP's.       Answer: The garlic used in Pure Encapsulations Garlic Complex is not soaked in acid. The garlic is extracted with water, concentrated, and dried in a patent pending proprietary process to preserve key compounds while eliminating characteristic garlic odor.

    Normally I pick this up at my doctor's office, but it's great to be able to have the same product shipped to me.

    High Quality, but Expensive
    The extent to which I can fully validate the effects of taking this product are limited. However, I can attest to the quality; it is superb relative to other products in its class. It contains quality sourced and tested ingredients. The only downside to trying this product, however, is the cost.

    Old version was better but this is OK too
    The garlic flavor is there as it's to be expected but it's nothing overpowering or makes your breath smell A couple of garlic burps once it starts digesting, but if you take if with food, say a sub sandwich you'll never notice

    No smelly garlic breath or body odor
    I like this product because it leaves No smelly garlic breath or body odor with tremendous health benefits. I used to eat a clove of garlic a day until a friend kindly told me of my pungent garlic breath and odor. I switched to the pure Garlic Complex and I can confidently go to work knowing that I do not smell anymore and am still getting the health benefits of garlic.

    No garlic taste or breath.
    Garlic is so good for you, but although I alike fresh garlic the taste would linger. Did not like that aspect of the fresh so have been very pleased with this product.
