    • Question: Do you have to hold the sheet or can you lay it directly on top of the item needing to be magnified?

      Answer: Dear Charlayne: Yes, you may need to hold the sheet for a proper distance between lens and your papers/ wording around 2 1/2 -3 inches . It's suggested to get the best magnification effect. Also, be sure between eye viewing and lens with" Parallel Direction".If it's used as Tilt way, will feel the wording is distortion.       Answer: It can be but it will not magnify anything placed thus. It will just appear as a clear plastic sheet. It needs some elevation, three pencils placed beneath it is a good place to start, but the further the magnifier is from the page the greater the magnification .
    • Question: Would it work taped to a window so a person with license can hold it so I can read the information while I’m on the other side of the window?

    Does the job intended.
    Works well. My wife currently has some vision problems and it helps her to see computer monitor so she can continue to surf the web or other things.

    Great magnification, not flimsy, must hold steady
    Sheets are light weight but not flimsy. Magnification was nice but you had to hold them so far from the page you were reading to keep it in focus. Bought for an elderly friend and they couldn’t hold the sheet steady.

    Make sure you understand what this is before you buy it I didn't I do not recommend
    It becomes tedious to hold it for three or four in above the they don't want to read which is tiring but at least it's not as heavy as a magnifying glass. Even holding it exactly as instructed words are still blurry
