    • Question: 1% astaxantnin doesn't seem high enough to do anything. Why is there only 1%; the hawaiian capsules have 12 mgs.It seems to little to even be effectiv

      Answer: To get to 12 mg of pure Astaxantin, one must take 1,200 mg of this 1% powder. This is common. There is no such product as 100% of the active.
    • Question: What extraction method is used?

      Answer: Is this actual Haematococcus Pluvialis if you are using fermenation as an extraction? Also, you spelled it wrong on your packaging!
    • Question: Where is this grown?

      Answer: This is grown and harvested in India.
    • Question: Will this powder dissove in water or juice? Is there a smell to this powder?

      Answer: Since this is like a seaweed, it does have a smell but it is subjective as to whether it is offensive or not. It should easily mix in water or juice.
    • Question: What percentage of this product is astaxanthin?

      Answer: The current batch that we have available has an assay of 1.05%. Thanks for asking.

    High cholesterol supplement
    I heard it was good for people who has high cholesterol. So far no side effects.

    Works great for reflux
    This does wonders for my reflux. And since it is an antioxidant, it's a healthier alternative than normal reflux medicine. Takes only a very small amount, mixed with liquid. A couple sips and I'm golden. Like the powder better than the pills b/c I can control the amount (with the powder). The 4 oz package lasts me more than 6 months, and I use the product 3-4 times per day.

    Good service from this supplier, but product lable lacked important information
    This product arrived as described and may be fine, but I would have liked to know the astaxanthin country of origin was China. That information was on the label of the package that arrived, but not shown on the same label in the add. I am concerned about the issue of products coming from China with reported contaminants and other issues. This supplier may have every batch independently checked, but personally, I will not order food or vitamins coming from China, since that country now has one of the highest levels of pollution in the world.
