Question: What's the difference between this and the borax - all natural sodium borate 10 mol mineral powder?
Answer: USP has been purified and certified for use for food and/or supplements. This is a professional grade. Companies can only use this high purity grade for any food or supplement production. The other grade is not certified for that type of use. -
Question: Where is this specific borax mined from? california or turkey? who certifies it as food grade (per seller description & answers to questions).
Answer: Mine is from France 😲 USA CERTIFIED -
Question: Any processing or additives done to the mined salt?
Answer: No additives and it is processed and purified, which makes it Food Grade and devoid of contaminants. -
Question: Edgar aaa the chemical formulas?a a boric acid or sodium borate or other?
Answer: As listed plainly in the product description, it's Sodium tetraborate/Decahydrate Powder or Boron as Borax Decahydrate NF if you prefer, assayed at 99.18% or ~11% Boron. There are no other added ingredients, so I fail to understand what other chemicals you are looking for or expecting. -
Question: Is this a different formula from Borax by Prescribed for Life? Or the only difference is that it is certified?
Answer: As far as I know, this is the only Borax product from Prescribed for Life. It is certified for human consumption in the natural form of Sodium Borate (which is Boron). I have been adding it to my drinking water (from my well) since there are scant sources of Boron from the soil these days. Boron is an essential mineral for healthy bones. -
Question: Does this dissolve well?
Answer: It will completely dissolve depending on the concentration. I dissolve 10 grams in 1000 grams of water, and it disappears.
