Answer: Hello Michael, I am sorry for the issue. If you don't mind, please trying removing the battery and replacing it. It should "reset" itself. If not, let me know and we will rush you a replacement! -
Question: I set it up,, but it never beeps to indicate that it is ready or that it has measured temperature. How do I get it to give the proper beeps?
Answer: Press the power button, it will beep. Then you will hear two beeps, place thermometer in front of forehead and press the start button. Do not move the thermometer away until you hear a beep. The temperature will appear on the display after the beep. -

Answer: No it does not.
